As the sun rose over the landscape, long golden rays stretched across the fields, illuminating patches of woodland in rich shades of orange, red, and gold. Low morning haze settled into the valleys, softening the distant hills and giving the valley a beautiful sense of depth.
From the air, the familiar patchwork of farmland, winding roads, and wooded hills takes on an entirely different perspective. It's one of my portraits of Chester County at the height of its autumn color.
